Hunter Rifle Special Drag Races

February 2022...and not just for rifles!

This month's Hunter Rifle departed from the usual course of fire to add PPC's (pistol caliber carbines) and even handguns.  The shoot was done as two teams that were evenly matched, only a few percentage points different in the score.  Shooters sought out a variety of targets from small steel to silhouettes at various distances.  

In the end the top three shooters were Ron 376, Neil 372 and Alan 368...very close!  Ron was also the top rifle shooter, Alan with PCC, Dean with pistol and with Neil, Dave and Alan tied on the steel.  A similar event will be in the schedule for March.  Watch the calendar and website for details.
